Shipping policy

Here's how we get coffee from our roaster to your door. By placing an order, you're agreeing to this policy — which is part of our overall Terms of Service.
Processing Time
One-time orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.
Subscription orders are roasted fresh on the 1st and ship the first week of each month. We submit subscription orders to our roaster around the 25th of the prior month — that's why cancellation requests need to reach us before that date.
Occasionally we may need to delay a shipment for verification or other operational reasons. We'll do our best to keep you informed if that happens.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
Rates:
Orders under $70: $8.99
Orders $70 or more: Free
We ship via UPS Ground (or equivalent) and delivery typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on where you are. These are estimates — weather, carrier delays, and other factors outside our control can affect timing.
Where we ship: All 50 states.
Where we can't ship:
- PO Boxes
- APO/FPO/DPO addresses
- U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands)
- Freight forwarding addresses
Orders to restricted addresses will be canceled and refunded.
Risk of loss: Once we hand your package to the carrier, it's in their hands — and technically, yours.
Subscription Shipping
- Minimum: 2 bags per delivery
- Rate: $6.99 per delivery, regardless of size
- Availability: U.S. addresses only
- Schedule: Roasted on the 1st, ships the first week of each month
By subscribing, you're authorizing recurring shipments and charges until you cancel.
International Shipping (Canada)
We ship to Canada with the following terms. By placing an international order, you're agreeing to everything in this section.
Minimum order: $72 USD
Rates:
$72–$99.99: $27.99
$100–$149.99: $24.99
$150–$199.99: $21.99
$200+: $18.99
Carrier and timing: We ship via UPS Standard (or equivalent). Estimated delivery is 10–14 business days, though customs processing can add time. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Customs, duties, and taxes: You're responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees charged by Canadian customs. These aren't included in your order total and vary by shipment. If you don't pay required fees, your package may be seized, destroyed, or returned — and we can't refund or replace it.
Customs delays and seizures: We have no control over customs processing. If your package is delayed, held, or seized by customs authorities, we're unable to issue refunds, credits, or replacements.
Risk of loss: Once we hand your package to the carrier at our U.S. facility, the risk transfers to you. You're assuming all risks of international shipping — delays, fees, seizure, damage, or non-delivery.
No returns: We don't accept physical returns from international addresses. If your order arrives damaged, see our Return Policy for next steps.
Tracking
You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Please make sure your email address is correct and check your spam folder if you don't see it. Tracking updates come from the carrier — we can't control their accuracy or timing.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We can't be responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses you've provided.
If a package comes back to us because of a wrong address, refusal, or failure to claim:
- We're happy to reship it — you'll just need to cover the reshipping cost.
- If you'd rather have a refund, we'll deduct a $10 restocking fee and the original shipping cost.
Address changes after your order ships may not be possible — and if they are, additional fees may apply.
Undeliverable Packages
Packages that are refused, unclaimed, or returned as undeliverable will be subject to a $10 restocking fee. The remainder will be refunded to your original payment method, minus the original shipping cost.
Carrier Selection
We choose the carrier and shipping method based on destination, package size, and operational factors. We're not liable for carrier performance or delays.
Shipping Restrictions
We reserve the right to refuse shipment to any address — including those associated with suspected fraud, freight forwarding, or prior issues. Orders to restricted addresses will be canceled and refunded.
Order Modifications
Need to change your address or modify an order? Contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, changes aren't possible.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability for shipping issues is limited to the shipping fees you paid for that order. We're not responsible for indirect or consequential damages related to shipping delays, carrier errors, or customs issues.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect when you place your order is the one that applies to that shipment.
